FCC advisory group schedules third meeting to discuss key IT issues

The Federal Communications Commission's Technological Advisory Council has scheduled its next meeting for Sept. 20 to resume discussions on hot-button issues such as the Internet of Things and the development 5G wireless communication.

The FCC TAC meeting is slated to “discuss progress on and issues involving its work program agreed to at its initial meeting on April 12th, 2018,” according to the Federal Register notice issued today announcing the meeting. The group's last meeting was on June 12.
