Digital ad group develops anti-malware certifications

The Trustworthy Accountability Group, a digital advertising certification organization, has awarded its first “Certified Against Malware” seals to nine companies that have implemented TAG’s guidelines on securing the digital advertising supply chain.

The initial recipients of the seal, according to TAG, include Google, Publishers Clearing House, OpenX, AppNexus, DataXu, LKQD, Rocket Fuel, Sovrn, and The Media Trust. These companies implemented TAG’s “best practices for scanning creative for malware,” in addition to other requirements including documentation of malware scanning responsibilities,...
