DHS Secretary Nielsen to discuss cybersecurity at G7 ministerial summit this week

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen will attend the Group of Seven, or G7, Security Ministerial in Toronto today and Tuesday, with a focus on cybersecurity issues, DHS announced.

“Secretary Nielsen will meet with her foreign counterparts to discuss joint efforts to combat terrorism, human trafficking, and cybersecurity threats,” DHS said in the announcement. “Secretary Nielsen will discuss the threats currently facing the United States and G7 partners and how a global approach is necessary to adequately address them.”
