DHS' Johnson says EINSTEIN threat-detection system covers nearly all government

Homeland Security Jeh Johnson announced Thursday that the EINSTEIN-3A cyber-threat detection system now protects the data of 93 percent of the civilian federal workforce.

Johnson's statement, just days before he leaves office, demonstrates DHS progress in expanding use of the EINSTEIN program to protect government systems and data following the massive data-breach of the Office of Personnel Management that was confirmed in May 2015.
