DHS disputes assertion on lack of communication between Secretary Nielsen, Homeland Chair Thompson

The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday said Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen has met “multiple times” with House Homeland Security Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS), disputing the lawmaker's comments that he has had little contact with the DHS leader up to this point.
