Clarke, a former George W. Bush official, advocates for ‘federal regulation’ of election cybersecurity

Richard Clarke, the former special advisor on cybersecurity to President George W. Bush, argued Tuesday for federal regulation of the cybersecurity of U.S. election systems, while also criticizing the approach of the Trump administration to election security.
