NTIA sets date for first meeting of Internet of Things security initiative

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration has announced the first public meeting of a new “multistakeholder” process to address Internet of Things cybersecurity patching and upgrading will take place on Oct. 19 in Austin, TX.
