DDoS attack highlighting IoT vulnerabilities captures policymakers' attention

The distributed denial of service attack that took out much of the nation's internet earlier this month has prompted increased concerns about the vulnerabilities of a growing market for the Internet of Things, with policymakers already considering how they should adapt to such emerging threats.
