Chertoff Group urges presidential cyber commission to encourage automated indicator sharing

A security group founded by former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff is pressing the White House's Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity to encourage development of a “common language” for sharing cyber threat information and implementation of automated sharing.

The Chertoff Group, in comments to the cyber commission dated Sept. 9, recommends that the commission address “greater interoperability” for automated indicator sharing.
