Report: Cybersecurity awareness rises among governors, state officials

Governors and state officials are becoming more aware of cybersecurity threats, according to a new National Association of State Chief Information Officers-Deloitte study released Tuesday.

The report, State Governments at risk: Turning strategy and awareness into progress, reveals that over 90 percent of state officials believe cybersecurity is important to their state, and cybersecurity is a more frequent discussion topic at state executive leadership meetings.
