FCC may halt implementation of auto technology until cyber strategies are established

The Federal Communications Commission is seeking comment on a proposal to halt implementation of new automotive communication technology until cybersecurity and privacy plans are in place, potentially slowing work by the auto industry and its safety regulator to roll out systems aimed at improving vehicle safety and offering a foundation for self-driving cars.
