Officials: Coast Guard cyber framework ‘profile’ not a compliance standard

GAITHERSBURG, MD -- Maritime sector companies that deal with bulk liquids should not look to a new “profile” mapping the federal framework of cybersecurity standards as a measure of compliance with cybersecurity standards and requirements, according to Coast Guard officials.
