Cybersecurity info-sharing standards body starts work under DHS grant

Federal grant money has started flowing to the private-sector team picked by the Department of Homeland Security to develop industry standards for sharing cyber threat data, paving the way for a related public workshop this fall, according to the industry team leader.

DHS last month awarded a $2 million annual grant that could be renewed for a total of five years to a team led by the University of Texas at San Antonio, which also includes the Logistics Management Institute...
