U.S. appeals court criticizes Wyndham, backs FTC cyber regulation

A U.S. appeals court ruling that affirmed the Federal Trade Commission’s authority to levy enforcement actions against businesses with insufficient cybersecurity includes strong jabs against the hotel industry titan that had argued otherwise.
