Aviation group offers guide on meeting, exceeding cyber rules

An effort to enhance cybersecurity in the aviation sector is advancing with the recent release of updated standards intended to help industry stakeholders meet and even go beyond current regulatory requirements for securing data systems on aircraft and in air traffic control networks.

Released in June, the two separate standards updates include revisions to existing aeronautical data and access control system standards for equipment on the ground and in the air, according to the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics....
