Top Democrat on Senate Homeland Security panel probes financial cyber posture

Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs ranking member Tom Carper (D-DE) announced Thursday that he has sent letters to several top financial leaders asking what measures are being taken to protect banks from cybersecurity threats.

Carper sent letters to Federal Reserve Bank of New York President William Dudley and to Patrick Antonacci, managing director of the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, according to an announcement from Carper.
