Lawmakers set to revisit Equifax hack; cyber rules for credit agencies, breach notice on the table

The House Financial Services Committee is expected to rekindle debate over cyber standards and breach notification policies for consumer credit reporting agencies like Equifax, with the panel’s new Democratic leadership holding its first hearing on the issue for next week.
