House Financial Services GOP leaders request information on SEC social media account breach

Republicans on the House Financial Services Committee are requesting information from the Securities and Exchange Commission following a breach of the agency’s account on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, which resulted in the publication of incorrect information.
