Agencies anticipate results of NTIA software transparency work in efforts to secure supply chains

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration's work to cultivate greater software transparency is coinciding with efforts by a key federal agency to incorporate security into its acquisitions process, a move that looks to be taking root across the government in order to address supply-chain cybersecurity risks.
