FCC commissioners to testify before Senate panel on privacy rules, other issues

Five commissioners from the Federal Communications Commission will testify before the Senate Commerce Committee this month as the FCC continues work on a controversial rulemaking on privacy for broadband providers, one of several issues at the commission that have captured attention on Capitol Hill.

FCC Chairman Thomas Wheeler will testify along with commissioners Mignon Clyburn, Michael O’Rielly, Ajit Pai, and Jessica Rosenworcel on Sept. 15.
