DHS to host ‘cybersecurity industry day’

The Department of Homeland Security will hold a “cybersecurity industry day” in mid December to discuss with contractors how to do business with the cybersecurity and communications office in the agency’s National Protection and Programs Directorate.

The Dec. 16-17 event in the Washington, DC, area will not focus on specific procurements, but rather will enable officials from the cybersecurity office to discuss capability requirements, challenges and technologies, according to a Nov. 20 Federal Business Opportunities notice.
