Industry lawyers push back on NIST privacy framework, cite upcoming ISO standard

Privacy lawyers questioned how an upcoming international privacy standard would be integrated into a framework being developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, while arguing the draft NIST document is getting out ahead of legal requirements.
