NIST holds final public meeting before release of 'discussion draft' privacy framework

The National Institute of Standards and Technology is holding a “roundtable” discussion this week to report progress and get additional feedback on the drafting of a privacy framework, which will likely be released in a revised draft form in the next few weeks.

The meeting this week will be the last public event by NIST before releasing a new draft privacy framework in advance of a two-day public workshop in Atlanta on May 13-14. That session will bring together...
