DOE's Evans delivers update on cyber initiatives, stresses whole-of-government, public-private approach

Karen Evans, leader of the Department of Energy's new office for cybersecurity and emergency response, on Thursday offered updates on supply-chain, trisector and pipeline cyber initiatives and – emphasizing the urgency in efforts to mitigate threats to the nation's critical infrastructure – issued a plain-dealing assertion about the private sector's access to information collected by the intelligence agencies.
