New CISA official identifies quantum computing as 'systemic risk' to critical infrastructure

China's development of quantum computing presents a “systemic risk” to national critical infrastructure and should spur government investment along with other efforts to mitigate potential threats to cybersecurity, according to the Department of Homeland Security official in charge of strategy, policy and plans for the new Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
