Consumer advocates, industry fall on opposite sides of NTIA's risk-based approach to privacy policy

Comments submitted to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration in response to the agency's proposed framework for establishing federal privacy policy draw battle lines over NTIA's reliance on a “risk-based” approach to advancing responsible data management practices.
