New national strategy sweeps in various cyber issues, promotes DHS and DOD

The “National Cybersecurity Strategy” released Thursday by the Trump administration addresses an enhanced role for the Department of Homeland Security in securing federal systems, more attention to supply-chain risks, and a commitment to global norms of behavior backed by the willingness to take offensive action in cyberspace spearheaded by the military.
