Google’s engineering director cites key progress on web access security, vulnerability disclosure

LAS VEGAS. Parisa Tabriz, Google’s director of engineering, launched Black Hat USA 2018 here today with a keynote speech offering her firm’s “Project Zero” as a cybersecurity success story that has driven the shift to “https” and led to faster and more useful disclosure of vulnerabilities by software and product vendors.
