Luetkemeyer eyes breach-notification markup in next congressional work period

House Financial Services Committee leaders are close to finalizing draft data security and breach notification legislation, and are looking to confer with the House GOP leadership on plans for moving forward, according to financial institutions and consumer credit subcommittee Chairman Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO), who is leading the panel’s efforts.
