Sen. Daines working with DHS, industry on moving Cyber SAFETY Act forward

Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) said Wednesday he is working with the Department of Homeland Security's leadership on issues he addresses in a bill specifying that SAFETY Act liability protections apply to cybersecurity products, after withdrawing an amendment on the topic during the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee markup last week of DHS reauthorization.
