Aaronson, cybersecurity expert, promoted to EEI vice president

The Edison Electric Institute Board of Directors voted Wednesday to promote Scott Aaronson, the EEI executive director of security and business continuity, to vice president of security and preparedness.

Aaronson has led the EEI teams focused on cyber and physical security issues, and will continue to serve as the secretary for the Electricity Subsector Coordinating Council, which brings together industry and government officials to work on critical infrastructure protection.
