Revised draft of NIST cybersecurity framework update to be released next week

The second draft of the National Institute of Standards and Technology's planned update to the 2014 framework of cybersecurity standards -- and the associated roadmap on future efforts -- will be released next week, NIST confirmed today, with sources saying it could come as early as Tuesday.

There will be "something more" than a 30-day comment period on the draft, according to a NIST official who noted the upcoming holidays.
