DOE faulted by IG for failing to correct longstanding cybersecurity vulnerabilities

The Department of Energy has failed to address cybersecurity vulnerabilities in its management of data and systems that were identified years ago, according to a new report by the department's Office of the Inspector General, which cites the highly sensitive nature of the systems managed by DOE including the nation's nuclear arsenal.
