More voices call for Trump team to address cybersecurity concerns in NAFTA talks

President Trump faces increased calls to expand his efforts for a revised North American Free Trade agreement by including language to ensure cross-border data flows while protecting personal information and securing networks.

“The Trump administration should expand its digital trade agenda for the NAFTA renegotiation beyond the objectives released by the U.S. trade representative,” argues Anupam Chander, a visiting professor at Georgetown University Law Center in a Council on Foreign Relations blog posted Monday.
