FTC touts settlement with Lenovo as signal for other companies on protecting consumer data

The Federal Trade Commission says its settlement with computer manufacturing giant Lenovo reflects the commission's broader agenda for protecting consumer data, and should signal for other companies what the FTC will be looking for in future enforcement actions on data privacy and security.
