NTIA reviews existing standards in draft IoT security documents released ahead of meeting

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration is circulating draft documents on Internet of Things security upgradability and patching, ahead of a “multistakeholder” meeting on the topic Wednesday in Washington.

Allan Friedman, director of cybersecurity initiatives at NTIA, announced in an email today the release of draft documents on IoT security developed by working groups within the multistakeholder process, allowing for review prior to Wednesday’s meeting in Washington.
