NHTSA, Federal Trade Commission seek input on role of regulators over connected cars

The roles of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Federal Trade Commission in overseeing privacy and cybersecurity of connected cars – and how self-regulatory approaches are being leveraged by industry – will be the focus of a June workshop, according to a request for comment from NHTSA and the FTC.
