IBM's chief technologist: IoT standards could be enshrined in trade agreements, legal precedent

Trade agreements and court decisions are likely to be the main drivers of de facto cybersecurity regulation of inter-connected devices within the emerging Internet of Things, a top technology leader told participants at a major industry security conference last week.
