Telecoms, equipment vendors ask lawmakers for funding to address FCC rip-and-replace program shortfall

A group of telecom operators and equipment vendors is urging House and Senate leaders to fully fund the Federal Communications Commission’s rip-and-replace program to help rid U.S. networks of equipment and services determined to pose a national security risk from vendors including Huawei and ZTE.
