House joins Senate in passing bill to improve cybercrime metrics, sending measure to president

The House has joined the Senate in passing bipartisan legislation to improve the collection of data about cybercrime and the measure now goes to the president for his signature.

“The United States lacks comprehensive cybercrime data and monitoring, leaving the country less prepared to combat cybercrime that threatens national and economic security,” according to the “Better Cybercrime Metrics Act,” which passed the House on Tuesday, after clearing the Senate by unanimous consent in December.
