Executive order on cryptocurrency directs agencies to report on security issues

President Biden’s executive order on “digital assets” points to cybersecurity risks that must be addressed even as the U.S. encourages innovation and technological advances, calling for reports within six months containing recommendations on countering ransomware related to cryptocurrency and other security issues.
