USTelecom partners with small business group to promote cyber best practices, drawing from Pentagon’s CMMC

USTelecom has partnered with a nationwide network of small business development centers to help telecoms improve their cybersecurity posture, through training programs built upon best practices from the Pentagon’s cyber certification program.

The North Star CMM program run by America’s Small Business Development Centers is designed to help companies incorporate security measures into their systems without focusing on the certification aspect of DOD’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program.
