After soft launch, CMMC accreditation body officially opens applications for assessors and consultants

The independent accreditation body behind the Pentagon’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification has formally opened up applications for a range of certifications, after a month-long soft launch which generated approximately 300 organization and 775 individual registrations.

The CMMC AB sent its first email blast on Monday alerting stakeholders that applications are now available for five certifications: Certified Third Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO), Certified Professionals (CP), Registered Provider Organization (RPO), Registered Practitioners (RP) and Licensed Partner Publisher.
