House defense bill: Cyber insurance, DMARC email security proposals OK’d in amendment packages

House members have agreed to amendments to the annual defense policy bill that would direct a study on the state of the cybersecurity insurance market and expand the use of the “DMARC” security standard across U.S. email providers, among the proposals adopted on Monday.
