FCC approves ruling on USF ban for services from Huawei, ZTE; seeks comments on rip-and-replace covered equipment

The Federal Communications Commission unanimously approved a Declaratory Ruling today that it has fulfilled requirements under a recently passed law to prohibit telecoms from using equipment and services from Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE.
