NTIA software transparency work to inform FDA, NIST initiatives

Participants in a Commerce Department agency-led cybersecurity initiative are helping the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institute of Standards and Technology to draft guidelines and set up new parameters for industry under a standard taxonomy for software components.
