State Dept.’s Strayer: Open-source software both a blessing and curse in network virtualization

The State Department’s leading cybersecurity official is flagging risks associated with open-source software amid a bipartisan push to virtualize network functionality toward reducing U.S. reliance on Chinese hardware.
