House Homeland chair Thompson backs enhanced liability protection for private-sector info-sharing

The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee said he favors moving legislation to clarify liability protections for sharing cyber threat information, acknowledging concerns raised by members of DHS’ public-private task force on managing risks to the supply chain of information and communications technology.
