ZTE seeks delay in cut-off of FCC Universal Service Fund money for purchasing its equipment

Chinese communications-tech firm ZTE is urging the Federal Communications Commission to hold off on barring U.S. telecom providers from using federal funds to purchase its equipment and services, until the agency evaluates “inconsistencies” between a new rip-and-replace law and ongoing rulemaking efforts.
