White House coordinator Joyce calls for cybersecurity accountability, discusses emerging challenges

NEW YORK – White House cybersecurity coordinator Rob Joyce says industry as well as federal agencies must be held accountable for investing in cybersecurity, detailing a number of emerging challenges that will need to be addressed.

Joyce, speaking at the FBI-Fordham University International Conference on Cybersecurity here, said “we’ve got to hold accountable” companies and other entities that play a role in maintaining a secure and effective society, urging all organizations to take seriously investing in cybersecurity.
